VIII. On Sin & Punishment
__The devil, a former angel in Heaven that was possibly a Cherubim, is deemed the father of sin, having been the very first to sin. The devil is the opposite of Christ. Christ is love and truth and the devil is hate and lies. I think the devil discovered sin and embraced it. Now, in our time the devil is a full-time expert of sin by having a great foresight of various sins and their subsequent paths. The most common idea of who punishes people for their sins is God and Christ or the Holy Trinity. Not so, the devil punishes you. I see them the Holy Trinity as letting bad things happen to you, or what my great grandma has said in the past, 'let the devil get you.' Even on this earth, as people sin from day to day, ranging from minor to extremely evil, the devil is still the one that punishes you for the evil shit you do. Or maybe it's that, the person's terrible sins and path filled with sin will eventually lead to the devil. In all cases, I think it interesting and important to know that the devil has built a kingdom of pure chaos that exists in places even on this earth. And it's very spooky that the devil can so easily, in our sins or because we sin, be walking with us or even become a part of us.
